Andre – Marcus, Iowa (Cherokee County)

Hi there! I’m Andre, writing from Marcus in Cherokee County, Iowa. I’m hoping to connect with a female pen pal from Texas—especially someone who’s disabled and enjoys heartfelt conversation. I believe in the power of friendship and shared interests, and I’d love to build a connection through email.

I’m a big fan of music, especially songs from the early 2000s and today’s hits. I also have a deep appreciation for country music from the 1950s all the way to the top tracks of 2025. Music brings people together, and I’d love to swap favorites and stories.

If you enjoy music, meaningful connection, and email chats, I’d be glad to hear from you. Let’s start with email: Andrescarbor67@yahoo.com. Looking forward to connecting!

Emily – Spring Grove, IL

Hi there! I’m Emily, and I help operate a small farm with my fiancé in Spring Grove, Illinois. Life has taken me to many places, including Seattle, San Francisco, and St. Louis, but I’ve primarily lived in IL. I’m passionate about sustainable living, upcycling, and doing good for the planet. Flowers initially led me to farming, and it has since become my life’s work. I love sending snail mail and think this penpal program is a fantastic way to connect with like-minded individuals.

When I’m not tending to the farm, you’ll find me indulging in my favorite activities: eating delicious food, traveling to new places, reading good books, and constantly learning new things. I enjoy being outside as much as possible, whether it’s through running, doing yoga, or hiking. Bread and cheese are my absolute favorite foods.

If you’re interested in garden projects, canning and preserving tips, recipes, or art, I’d love to hear from you! I prefer writing physical letters—there’s something special about connecting through the mail. Feel free to reach out via email at ecjones27@gmail.com to exchange mailing addresses. Looking forward to connecting and sharing inspiration!

Traci – Vigo County, IN

Hi there! I’m Traci, a 35-year-old mother of six amazing kids (ages 14, 11, 9, 7, 4, and a newborn). Life is wonderfully busy on our one-acre homestead in Vigo County, Indiana, where we raise chickens, geese, ducks, and rabbits using regenerative agriculture practices. I’m deeply passionate about sustainability, learning, and farming, and I love connecting with like-minded individuals to share ideas and experiences.

In addition to farming, I have a passion for cooking from scratch and trying out new recipes. Canning is a big part of my life—I try to can at least something every week. I’m currently pursuing an Associate’s in Agriculture and plan to continue with a Bachelor’s in Regenerative Agriculture and a Master’s in Sustainable Food Systems. When I’m not tending to the animals or preserving food, you’ll find me reading (usually several books at once!).

If you enjoy cooking, canning, or diving into all things sustainable living, I’d love to hear from you! Let’s start with email: traci@huckleberryfarms.farm. Looking forward to hearing from you!

7-Year-Old Horse & Garden Enthusiast – Vigo County, IN

Hi! My 7-year-old daughter is looking for a pen pal who shares her love of unicorns, horses, and all things glittery! She’s a bright, enthusiastic reader who’s still mastering her writing skills, so her letters might be a little messy—but they’ll always be filled with excitement and creativity.

She helps take care of the rabbits on our family farm by feeding and watering them daily, and during the warmer months, she pours her heart into our garden. She loves pulling weeds, picking out plants and seeds to grow, and harvesting the fruits of her labor. Gardening has become one of her biggest passions, and she’d love to connect with someone who shares her interest in plants, animals, or just the magic of farm life.

We’re looking for a pen pal around her age with similar interests to help her grow her writing skills and make a new friend. If your child is interested, let’s start the pen-pal connection! Feel free to email us at traci@huckleberryfarms.farm to arrange details.

We’d love to find someone around her age who would enjoy exchanging one book per month with a $15 limit. It’s a fun way to explore new stories, share favorite reads, and spark excitement about reading!

If you and your little one are interested in joining us for this monthly book swap adventure, please email us at traci@huckleberryfarms.farm to arrange the details. We can’t wait to connect and share the joy of books!

Hi! My 9-year-old son is looking for a pen pal who shares his interests in dragons, Pokémon, Minecraft, Magic the Gathering, Hearthstone, the Game Night 999 series, crafts, and graphic novels. His favorite animals on our farm are our fluffy Silkies, and he helps take care of them by feeding and watering the brooder babies, Silkies, and bachelor pad roosters. He also manages all the water for the birds, including the duck and geese pools.

He’s in 4th grade, and his favorite subject in school is Math. He’d love to connect with someone who enjoys similar activities and can write kind, thoughtful letters—no mean words or family negativity, please! If this sounds like a good match for your child, we’d love to hear from you. You can email us at traci@huckleberryfarms.farm to get started.

11-Year-Old Graphic Novel & Gaming Fan – Vigo County, IN

Hi! My 11-year-old son is looking for a pen pal who shares his interests in graphic novels, Minecraft, Pokémon, Assassin’s Creed, and Fortnite. His favorite animals on our farm are our Chinese Brown Geese, and as we transition back to living with mom, he’s excited to take on new chores involving our animals.

He’s in 6th grade and plays trumpet in the school band. His favorite subject in school is Reading, and he’d love to connect with someone who likes geese and enjoys similar activities. If your child would be a good match for a friendly pen-pal connection, please email us at traci@huckleberryfarms.farm to get started!
