Our Journey
Huckleberry Farms began in 2012 with a simple love for home-raised food, inspired by family traditions. As a mother, I faced significant challenges when my sons developed sensitivities to processed foods and additives. This led our family to adopt a whole-foods diet, focusing on natural, unprocessed ingredients.
Life presented its trials, including personal struggles and the arrival of my youngest child in 2024. These experiences deepened our commitment to a self-sustaining lifestyle. Settling into our one-acre sanctuary, we found that engaging with the land not only improved our health but also strengthened our family bonds and provided therapeutic benefits.
Despite facing personal upheavals, such as overcoming addictions and walking away from life-threatening situations, homesteading became our beacon. By employing regenerative practices, we created a homestead that nourished both body and spirit, offering a path to mental and emotional healing.
