Baked Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken
  • Lawry’s Seasoned Salt
  • 2 tablesoons butter
  • Aluminum foil (twice as long as chicken)
  • Baking sheet

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Center aluminum foil on baking sheet and add 2 tablespoons of butter in center of foil.
  3. Place chicken on top of butter and cover liberally in seasoned salt. (Mine usually looks like it has a sunburn when I’m done!)
  4. Wrap foil around chicken to make a foil packet, being sure that the butter and juices won’t leak out.
  5. Bake wrapped chicken on baking sheet for one and a half hours or until chicken is tender.

We often pair this with one of the Knorr rice side flavors and a vegetable.
